Recent 16 Black News

Jasett Smith is the August female AAU Athlete of the month powered by CaptainU. 

A native of Washington State, she participates in both indoor and beach volleyball as well as runs track.

Jasett is the 2017 Miss Aquafest Junior Queen Division winner and the Community Service title holder in her division.

She has logged well over 200+ hours involved in and giving back towards local organizations. These include contributing her time and participating in the Lake Stevens Rotary Club, Snohomish Farmers Market, American Legion, Military Families Christmas Operation, Snohomish Senior Center, Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walks, serving food and giving supplies out at local homeless shelters and volunteering for her local school district.

Aloing with her extracurricular activities, Jasett holds a 3.9 grade point average making her a true scholar athlete and deserving of AAU's Athlete of the Month powered by CaptainU honors.
